Super Street The Game is an action-packed racing video game that draws its inspiration from the Super Street magazine, with collaboration from the Motor Trend Group. Developed by Rebel Games and Team6 Game Studios, and published by Lion Castle Entertainment, this game was initially slated for release on September 4, 2018, but was eventually launched on September 11 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows platforms worldwide. Powered by the Unreal Engine 4, the game's musical score was crafted by Deon Van Heerden.In 2019, a sequel titled Super Street: Racer was introduced exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

In December, a comprehensive update was rolled out across all platforms. This update brought along new vehicles, expanded customization options, five additional race events, and a temporary 50% discount on the game's retail price.

Gameplay:

Players engage in race events utilizing fictional renditions of real-world cars. The garage offers a wide array of customization choices, while realistic damage models enhance the gaming experience due to the absence of licensing constraints on vehicle designs. Various terrains, from desert landscapes to quaint towns and bustling cities, feature distinct stages and maps. As you progress, the option to recruit crew members becomes available, aiding your ascent to the top ranks.

Reception:

The game garnered mixed reviews from critics. Its strengths encompass an extensive customization feature and a highly realistic damage system. However, criticisms centered on the perception that the game felt incomplete. The driving mechanics were deemed unstable, the graphics fell short by contemporary standards, the storyline and environment lacked depth, and the game received minimal updates. Pricing was also criticized for being on the higher side, and the multiplayer mode was criticized for its limited interaction. The gameplay drew comparisons to Road Rage, and the soundtrack was noted as a positive aspect.

According to Metacritic, Super Street: The Game achieved scores of 6.3 for the PlayStation 4, 6.1 for the PC, 6.2 for the Xbox One, and 4.1 for Super Street: Racer on the Nintendo Switch.
